Founded in 1868 the City of Reno has continued to grow and adapt to the ever changing climate of the populous. Now a hub for Logistics and home to a tier 1 university Reno`s climate has evolved into the 21st century, seemingly with ease. The Midtown District has not only assisted in the city changing, culturally and visually, to a new city ready for change.
The effect that Midtown has had on the city can be seen not only on the streets but in the people that live in and around it creating a unique culture not found elsewhere in the Biggest Little City. This culture has many influences such as; Burning Man, Local business owners, and other retail/logistical companies that see Reno as a hub of diversity and opportunity.

I sat down with Darrell Clifton to discuss the changes of Midtown and how it came to be.
